Meet The Team
Darren started the company in 2016 shortly after working in industry and had an interest in public practice. He enjoys playing golf, volleyball, and reading.
Emmanuel joined the team as a bookkeeping manager in March 2022 and currently holds a CPA designation. He has over 7 years’ experience in accounting both locally and internationally. Emmanuel loves to play tennis and is currently taking piano classes.
Rue is a purebred miniature Poodle, born in August 2021.
Teresa joined Darren Wong Accounting in April 2020 and is handling the individual and corporate tax payer accounts. During her free time she enjoys trying new restaurants, keeping up with fashion trends, and hanging out with her french bulldog.
Linh joined the team in August 2021 as an Executive Assistant. She graduated from British Columbia Institute of Technology in Business Management. Linh ‘s goal is to work with the team to streamline the workflow and ensure our clients are happy with our services. In her free time, she enjoyed hiking, biking, swimming, and snowboarding.
Daniel joined the advisory team in November 2020 with a keen interest in assisting local businesses during these trying times in gaining grant funding. Daniel’s professional experience involves working in public practice in audit and is a contract CFO for several companies in downtown vancouver.
Hi! I joined DW & Associates, CPA as a Bookkeeping Associate in July 2022. Currently I attend UofT studying actuarial science but I plan to transfer to SFU and continue my studies in Vancouver. Personally I love traveling and experiencing new cultures and experiences; my goal is to check off as much of the world as I can.
